Felted Slippers

Since my knitting addiction hit full force about two years ago, my poor patient husband has only been on the receiving end of one of my creations (a wool hat in Minnesota Wild colors), until now - I finally finished a pair of the Fiber Trends felted slippers for him. I used 100% wool yarn from Joann Etc., about 400 yards of the brown and 200 yards of the wheat on size 13 needles. The pictures before felting and after felting (or fulling, if you are hardcore about definitions) are fun to see. It is hard to tell from the photos but the pre-felted version are about 40% larger than the finished version - these slippers are cozy and soft.

dang... if you do a saturday I can't crash the party...no chance for a couple of evenings so we could start knitting together and then felt together when we're done?

I hope they are fast and easy so I can make some for Christmas gifts too!

Just FYI, blogs are meant to be updated regularly ... which I am pretty sure means more than monthly (at least that's what the fine print in my blog contract said) ... I keep checking and keep seeing the same picture ... share more of your creative genius with us peons!
